Dedizierte Server und Colocation im Rechenzentrum München

Within the Munich computer centre, Hofmeir Media GmbH offers you different variants of an own dedicated server. You can acquire or rent one or more servers from us, and to operate these in the computing centre. Equally, you may prefer to have your own servers within the colocation (so-called server housing). Naturally, you can outsource the management of the servers to us, and you can combine your servers with our other products, such as VPN, firewall or cluster technology.

Dedicated servers – with or without management services

Depending on your requirements, you can rent or purchase a dedicated server from us directly. In many cases, this will include a basic server management option to be supplied by our team. In this case, our team manages your equipment, updates the software, and monitors the entire system via our own in-house CRM/ERP for faults and security gaps. When you make your first installations, or when there is configuration work to be done at a later stage, you can simply discuss your requirements with us. This type of server management option is always a consideration when you prefer not to be involved in the time-intensive daily administration of your systems, and prefer to concentrate your resources entirely on your core applications or data banks. Colocation und Housing

In addition, your own servers can be installed in our colocation area, and can be connected to our network. In this case we will provide the necessary metadata to you ahead of time (suite, cabinet, port and IP areas), and make an appointment with us. On the agreed day we will help you to install the equipment in the computer centre, and will ensure the set-up proceeds correctly, using our QM check lists.

Individuelle Verträge

The requirements for servers and colocation can be extremely varied. For this reason, every offer and every contract will be compiled individually with a view to your products and wishes, and will be adjusted to fit in with our internal standards and procedures. IPV6

We are already in a position to offer you utilisation of IPv6 sub-networks. Our customers are provided with an own (native) ::/48-IPv6 sub-network. We are happy to provide this network, in addition to a dual stack configuration, in an own VLAN. This is of particular interest for test purposes.
